Luther
February 24, 1914 - February 13, 2015
Luther Parsons, who resided in Subiaco, Arkansas, passed away Friday, February 13, 2015 in Paris. He was born February 24, 1914 in the St Louis Valley community in Logan County to Joseph and America Horne Parsons. He was almost 101 years old. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Arrevia Rhineheart Parsons; two sisters; five brothers, and his daughter-in-law, Wilma Parsons. Luther was a retired independent truck driver. He was an avid gardener, hunter, and fisherman. He loved to sit and listen to the St Louis Cardinals and the Arkansas Razorbacks, and he was a member of Midway Assembly of God.
He is survived by daughter, Elwanda Robinson and husband Carlton of Paris; son, Larry Parsons of Subiaco; grandchildren, Carla Dickerson of Ozark, Marty Robinson of Paris, Eric Parsons of Caulksville, and Lori Howard of Paris; great-grandchildren, Carson Dickerson, Shae Parsons, Will Howard and Briar Howard.
