When James Edgar Edd McTigrit was born on July 20, 1913, in Arkansas, his father, John, was 52 and his mother, Martha, was 37. He married Mattie Williams on June 19, 1935, in Yell, Arkansas. He died on June 21, 1980, in Star City, Arkansas, at the age of 66, and was buried in Gould, Arkansas.
Martha Angline(Sis) Jones married John Alexander McTigrit in Garland, Arkansas, on April 16, 1894, when she was 18 years old.
Martha Angline(Sis) Jones was born in March 1876 in Arkansas, the daughter of unknown. She had seven sons and 15 daughters. She died in August 1969 in Dumas City, Arkansas, at the age of 93, and was buried there.
