Lena Mae McCarty, 87, of Gould, died June 28, 1994, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
Born September 5, 1906, in Union County, Mississippi, she was a daughter of the late M. C. Wilson and Mary Marelean Mosley Wilson.
Survivors include two sons, Frank McCarty and Bobby McCarty, both of Gould; two daughters, Valda Douglas of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and Veronica Mangold of Palestine (St. Francis County); a brother, Earnest Wilson of McGehee; a sister, Ollie Hilton of McGehee; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at Griffin Funeral Home of Dumas, with Bill Wood officiating.
Burial will be in Dark Corner Cemetery at Gould.
