J C Lee, 83, of Paris, Arkansas died Wednesday, March 10, 2004, in his home. He was a member of Midway Assembly of God and served four years in the Army during World War II in northern France, earning the Bronze Star and a Good Conduct medal for his service there. Mr Lee was preceded in death by his parents, William H and Sadie Horn Lee; brothers Arlis and Leon Lee; and sister Loreen Lee. Pallbearers will be James C Jones, Kenny, Kevin and Nick Hughes, Mitchell Jones, Curtis Varnell and Art and Jimmy Carter. Mr Lee is survived by his wife, Erma F Jones Lee of Paris; daughters, Sharon Fly of Stilwell, Oklahoma and Patty Hamilton of Fort Smith, Arkansas; son, Bill Lee of Fresno, California; sister, Rosie Bradley of Las Vegas, Nevada; brothers Fay of Paris, Russell of Oklahoma City, Junior of Las Vegas and James and Kenneth, both of Ventura, California; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Erma Faye Lee, who resided in Paris, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018, in Barling, Arkansas. She was born April 21, 1925, near Midway, Arkansas in Logan County to Alma and Farris Horn Jones. She was 92 years old. She was also preceded in death by her husband, J C Lee. Erma was a homemaker, and she was a member of Faith Pentecostal Church of God in Paris.

She is survived by daughters, Sharon Fly and husband Danny of Stilwell, Oklahoma and Patty Hamilton of Fort Smith, Arkansas; son Billy Lee of Fort Smith; sister, Bettye Perez of Ventura, California;brother, Harold Jones and wife Susan of Paris; eleven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

Pallbearers will be David Lee, Kevin Hughes, Nick Hughes, Kody Fly, Danny McCoy, Jake Swicegood, Bryan Fly, Easton Redding and Logan Hughes.
