She was born Feb. 25, 1942, in Natchez, Miss. She attended the Methodist Church, owned dress shops, newspapers, an engineering consultant and construction management company, a member of Women in Construction, American Quarter Horse Association, Texas Longhorn Cattle Association and past president of Oklahoma Herb Growers Association.
She is survived by her husband, Hollis; a son, Bryon Knight of Little Rock; her mother, Alene Nix of White Hall; and two grandchildren.
