When Margaret Alice Pemberton Jones was born on September 28, 1928, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, her father, Port, was 44, and her mother, Myrtle, was 30. She had one son with Arlan Evander Jones in 1950. She died on March 11, 2005, in Pottsville, Arkansas, at the age of 76, and was buried in Gould, Arkansas.
