Jimmy Jones, 64 of White Hall and formerly of Gould passed away January 21, 2015 in Pine Bluff. He was born June 24, 1950 in Little Rock the son of the late Audrey Marie Standridge Jones and Edgar James Jones. Jimmy was a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church and a retired farmer.
Known to family and friends as “Deacon”, he enjoyed music and playing his guitar. He loved and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Survivors are his son, Ben Jones of White Hall and 3 daughters, Tammy Jones of Pine Bluff, Sandy Watters & Phyllis Jones both of Harrison, 2 brothers, Ray Jones of Star City and Paul Jones of Dumas, 3 sisters, Doris McDaniel of Pine Bluff, Carolyn Courtney of Pine Bluff and Janie Jones, Sparta, Missouri; 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation held 5-7pm, Friday, January 23, 2015 at Griffin Funeral Home, Dumas. Graveside funeral services held 2pm, Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Dark Corner Cemetery near Gould. Griffin Funeral Home, guest book www.griffinfh.com.
