Thurman William "Bill" Bargay, 71, of Seligman, passed away Friday, Nov. 3, 2017, at his home.

He was born Jan. 14, 1946, in Barry County, the son of William and Lotty May Ward Bargay. On Oct. 8, 1980, he was united in marriage to Judy Lothes, who survives. Also surviving include: four daughters, Kelly Bargay, Billie Ann Bargay, Cindy Treslure Francisco and her husband Jerry of Pea Ridge, Ark., and Angela Dawn Anderson and her husband Tommy of Seligman; one son, James Dell Frazier and his wife Kerry of Centerton, Ark.; one brother, George Truman Bargay and his wife Judy of Portland, Ore.; one sister, Joyce Tripp of Pea Ridge, Ark.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents; four sisters, Ona Stanley, Florence Skelton, Loretta Loyd and Merel Spain; one brother, Herman Bargay; and five grandchildren.

He grew up and received his education in Barry County. For several years he was a Park Attendant for the Corp of Engineer at Beaver Lake, which he loved. He was also a self-employed carpenter.

Services were held Monday at First Baptist Church in Seligman under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Bob Scott will conduct the services. Burial was at Union Chapel Cemetery in Garfield, Ark.
