ROGERS - Ivan Lee Barnes, 81, of Rogers, passed away Dec. 24, 2010, at Circle of Life Hospice House in Springdale. Ivan was born Nov. 15, 1929, in Spring Valley, Ark., the son of Gordon Lee and Mildred Maxine Morris Barnes.

Ivan was employed by Pile's Concrete and Vault in Lowell for 19 years, before becoming co-owner of Barnes-Jones Excavation in 1974, a business he enjoyed until retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a stepfather, D.D. Shaddox.

Ivan is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia Ann Ogden Barnes, of the home; three daughters, Sandy West of Little Flock, Sherry Garmon and her husband, John, of Alverado, Texas, and Sheila (Jody) Luttrell and her husband, Rick, of Fayetteville; four grandchildren, Paula Wishon Olvera, Matthew Luttrell, Sarah Luttrell and Brian Luttrell; and four great-grandchildren, Cody, Courtney, Colton an Joshua.

Graveside services, under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010, in Little Flock Cemetery.

Family and friends will gather at the home of Sandy West immediately following the service to celebrate and honor Ivan's life. The family would like to thank the Circle of Life Earlene Howard Hospice House for their loving care and support of Ivan and his family. Donations can be made to the Circle of Life Hospice House in Ivan's name.

FAYETTEVILLE - Patricia A. Barnes, 83, of Fayetteville and long time resident of Rogers, passed away Nov. 14, 2018, at the Circle Of Life Hospice in Tontitown.

Pat never met a stranger and greeted all with her always present smile. She was an accomplished seamstress, loved to cook and always had a passion for fishing with family members. Patricia was born Sept 9, 1935, in Buffalo, Kan., the daughter of Woodrow Wilson and Etta Jane Smith Ogden.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ivan Lee Barnes and her sister, Phyllis Pedigo.

She is survived by her children, Sandy West of Little Flock, Sherry Garmon and husband John of Alvarado, Texas, and Sheila "Jody" Luttrell and husband Rick of Fayetteville; her brother, Dan Ogden and wife Marsha of Harrisonville, Mo.; four grandchildren, Paula Olvero and husband Benito of Rogers, Matthew Luttrell, Sarah Luttrell and Brian Luttrell of Fayetteville, and four great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018, at the Little Flock Cemetery, Little Flock, Ark. A celebration of her life will be held immediately following.
