When OSCAR JOSEPH EDWARDS was born on February 7, 1892, in Newton, Arkansas, his father, JOHN, was 23 and his mother, MARGARET, was 26. He had one son and five daughters with ELMIRA HARKINS. He died on February 11, 1973, in Dumas City, Arkansas, at the age of 81, and was buried in Gould, Arkansas.
