Robert E. Loudon, 70 of Greenbrier, passed away Friday, June 3, 2016 in Little Rock. He was born on July 3, 1945, in Abilene, Kansas to the late Robert Dean and Gaynell Lula Hall Loudon. He was a Boy Scout Master for 20 years and a Master Fishing Fly Tier. Besides fishing, Robert also enjoyed camping and music. He was a proud U. S. Army veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church in Clinton.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Carol Marlow.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 48 years, Marie Antonette (Toni) Bartol Loudon of Greenbrier; one son, Robert Michael Loudon of Greenbrier; two daughters, Christine Symons and husband Eric of Greenbrier; Sarah Speerly and husband Daniel of Millington, Illinois; and five grandchildren: Daniel, Katie, Kay, Kassie and Carter.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church in Clinton with Father Oliver officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm, Monday June 6, 2016 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier. Interment will be at Bethlehem Cemetery in Greenbrier. Full military honors will be rendered by the U. S. Army and VFW Post 2259 of Conway.
Pallbearers will be Eric Symons, Dan Speerly, Daniel Symons and Randy Paige.
