Henry Lee Quimby, 73, of Rt. 3, El Dorado, died Thursday morning in a local hospital after a long illness. Born Feb. 19, 1895 in Ebenezer Community, Bradley County, he was the son of Christopher Columbus and Sally Temple Quimby. Mr. Quimby was a retired employe of Monsanto Chemical Co. He was a veteran of World War I and was a member of the Roy V. Kinard Post No. 10 of American Legion and of the Calion Methodist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lucille Oliver Quimby and several nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Young's. (El Dorado Times - June 6, 1968)
