When Leslie Ebenezer Clark Brandon was born on December 25, 1906, in White, Arkansas, his father, John, was 19 and his mother, Martha, was 21. He married Bertha Pauline Rosena Pridemore on December 13, 1926, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. They had eight children in 20 years. He died on August 23, 1990, in Dumas City, Arkansas, at the age of 83, and was buried there.
