When Garland William Sr Bradshaw was born on March 10, 1900, in Redfield, Arkansas, his father, James, was 41 and his mother, Fannie, was 36. He married Mabel Elizabeth Olive on August 16, 1922, in Jefferson, Arkansas. They had four children during their marriage. He died on April 15, 1979, in Gould, Arkansas, at the age of 79.
