When Dorothy (Lynn) Patching was born on January 27, 1942, in Lexa, Arkansas, her father, Ernest, was 33, and her mother, Rosa, was 26. She married Robert C Vittitow in November 1964 in her hometown. They had three children during their marriage. She died as a young mother on December 4, 1975, in Lexa, Arkansas, at the age of 33, and was buried in De Witt, Arkansas.
