Estel Aubrey Trussell, 94, of DeWitt passed away March 1, 2018. He was born March 13, 1923 to Wyatt and Lelia McGraw Trussell in Point Deluce. He was a retired farmer and a WWII veteran.
He was preceded in death by three sisters Jocie Smith, Willene Bethal, and Lois Purdy, and two brothers, Hassel and Clyde Trussell.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years Catherine Stephen Trussell, son Dennis (Kathy), daughter Janis (Doug) Dougan, two granddaughters D'Lisa (Matt) Haas and Nikki (Ronald) Jones, and eight great grandchildren Owen, Katie, and Hudson Haas, Makyla and Harleigh Vansickle, and Cheyenne, Wyatt, and Tyler Jones.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. March 3 at Essex Funeral Home with burial in Cedarcrest Memorial Gardens.
