When Doris Maxine Stevenson was born on March 23, 1934, in Arkansas, her father, Walter, was 28, and her mother, Sadie, was 23. She married Leo Rhodes and they had three children together. She then married Alan Vance Guthrie on December 16, 1972. She died on July 7, 2004, in Little Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 70, and was buried in De Witt, Arkansas.
