Henry Alton “Toad” Wilson husband of Willodene (Anderson) Wilson. Henry Alton “Toad” Wilson served his country in the US Army during WWII. Willodene (Anderson) Wilson daughter of Alfred Roy Anderson and Golda (Walker) Anderson.

Willodene (Anderson) Wilson, 67, of Cord, died Sunday, January 7, at a Little Rock hospital.

She was retired from the White Rodgers Appliance Company of Batesville. She was a member of the Oakridge United Methodist Church of Cord and a member of the Cord Demonstration Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Alton "Toad" Wilson; one daughter, Dana Sherri Wilson and two grandchildren, Christy Lynn Wilson and Shannon Duane Wilson.

Survivors include two sons: Jarrel Michael Wilson of Batesville, and Danny Duane Wilson of Rosie; one daughter, Judy Carol Wilson Kemp of Jonesboro; one brother Van Ray Anderson of Cord; two sisters, Alma Lee Mobley of Cord and Billie Jean Carter of North Little Rock; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral Service was at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 9, at the Oakridge United Methodist Church of Cord with hte Rev. Charles Mabry officiating. Burial was in Hopewell Cemetery, Cord.

Active pallbearers were Fred Milligan, Charles Osborne, Billy Joe West, Michael Wayne Kemp, Jeremy Jobe and Toby Wickersham.

Honorary pallbears were Guy Gipson, Jr. Billy Dill, Eddie Carter, Doug Anderson, Grant Anderson, and Gary Dale Anderson.

Jackson's Newark Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
