1934 - 2007
Graveside services for Virginia LaCotts Ragsdale of Carrollton, formerly of DeWitt, Ark., will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Cedarcrest Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. LaCotts, 73, died of cancer on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2007.
Mrs. LaCotts was born Nov. 15, 1934, to J.C. and Vertie Fletcher LaCotts. Along with her husband, she was the owner of Ragsdale Liquor and Vending in DeWitt.
She was preceded in death by her parents, stepmother Arvella Delancy LaCotts and two bothers, Joe Carroll LaCotts and Darrel "Big" LaCotts.
She is survived by her husband, Pete Ragsdale of Carrollton; sons, Terry Boynton of Carrollton and Leon Ragsdale of DeWitt; a brother, Don LaCotts of DeWitt; sisters, Beatrice Golde of Anaheim, Calif., and Bytha Dulin of Greers Ferry, Ark.; three grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. today at Essex Funeral Home in DeWitt.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
