Clarence Edward Neal Sr., 77, of Stuttgart died Wednesday, July 29, 2009, at his home.
Mr. Neal was born March 12, 1932 in Indian Bay, Arkansas to John Henry Neal and Florence Williams Neal. He was a retired farmer and plant operator, and was a Baptist.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Clarence Edward Neal Jr.; brothers, Frank Neal, Sam Neal, Ora Lee Neal, J.T. Neal and Lee Roy Neal; and sister, Alice Arras.
Survivors are his wife, Cleo Virginia Gilson Neal; son, John Amos Neal and wife Amanda of Stuttgart; daughter, Carolyn Annette Brown and husband Cecil of Humphrey; brothers, Paul Neal and wife Bonnie of Texas, and Earmon "Bud" Neal and wife Regina of DeWitt; sisters, Lenora Hallman and husband Daniel of DeValls Bluff, Florence Light and husband Clyde of Stuttgart and Anne Britt of Jacksonville; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Turpin Funeral Home chapel with burial in Cedarcrest Memorial Gardens at DeWitt.
