1963 - 2001
Judy Kay Mavity, 37, of DeWitt died of cancer Jan. 29. She was born March 29, 1963. She was employed at Lennox Industries. She was a member of DeWitt Roundup Club, White Hall Riding Club and Eastside Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 18 years. Calvin Mavity; a daughter, Ashly Mavity; her mother and step-dad, Joyce and Arthur Noe of DeWitt; her dad, Carl Lee Smith of Merchant, TX; two brothers, Kelly Smith and Emmit Smith of DeWitt; and many other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Jan. 31 at Eastside Baptist Church with burial in Cedarcrest Memorial Gardens by Essex Funeral Home.
