Augist 6, 1922 - April 17, 2005
Atkins, Arkansas - G W Childers, 82, of Atkins, Arkansas and formerly a longtime Coolidge, resident, died April 17, 2005, at St Mary's Regional Medical Center.
The funeral was held at 10 am April 20 at Lemley Funeral Chapel, with the Rev Paul Brixey and the Rev Mark Griffith officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery. Mr Childers was born August 6, 1922, in Atkins and was a son of John and Ila Tyler Childers. He was preceded in death by daughter Linda Childers; brothers, D K, James "Snooks" and Don Childers; sister, Johnnie G Gehlhart; and grandchildren, George and Christina Childers.
