Henry Ford Stoner son of John Henry Stoner and Maude Josephine (Hendrix) Stoner. Doris Lavern (Westbrook) Stoner daughter of Charles Newton Westbrook and Daisy Elizabeth (Churchill) Westbrook. Henry Ford Stoner served his country in the US Navy during WWII.
Doris Lavern (Westbrook) Stoner
Doris Lavern Westbrook Stoner, 69, of Batesville died Monday, July 23, 2001, at her home.
Born Sept. 24, 1931, in Cord, she was the daughter of Charles Newton Westbrook and Daisy Elizabeth Churchill Westbrook.
She was a seamstress and retired from Brown Jordan Company of Newport. She was a member of Charlotte Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son, Henry M. Stoner of Newport; a daughter, Clarinda Stoner Foote of Batesville; a sister, Vernell Westbrook Latting of Kansas City, Mo.; three grandchildren, Franklin Shane Heath, Michael Tyler Stoner and Devon Michele Foote; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry Ford Stoner; an infant brother; and a grandson, Jason Bradley Heath.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Charlotte Church of Christ with Charles Crow officiating and Ralph Wallis assisting.
Burial will be at Hopewell Cemetery in Cord with arrangements by Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight.
