Carl C Skinner son of William Aaron Skinner and Kitty Myrtle (Parker) Skinner. Ruby Volena (Gipson) Skinner Clark daughter of Jack Monroe Gipson and Mattie (Dover) Gipson.


Ruby Volena Gipson SKINNER Clark

Batesville - Ruby Volena Gipson SKINNER Clark, 88, of Batesville died Saturday, Feb. 7, at Batesville.

Born at Cord, she lived in Wichita, Kan., for 25 years, where she was a member of Northside Church of Christ. She was a homemaker and member of Newark Church of Christ.

Survivors include one son, Bill M. SKINNER of Heber Springs; one stepson, Darrell Clark of Rose Hill, Kan.; one stepdaughter, Darlene Howland of Pensacola, Fla.; and two grandchildren, Maria Lisa SKINNER Massey of Ramona, Calif., and Dr. Keith K. SKINNER of Denver and Honolulu.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Carl S. SKINNER and Vaun Clark; one daughter, Brenda C. SKINNER; her parents, Jack Monroe and Mattie Dover Gipson; five brothers; two sisters; and two half sisters.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Newark Church of Christ, with Ralph Wallis officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery under the direction of Jackson's Newark Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will include William SKINNER, Jacob Wilson, David Shetron, Gary Gipson, Terry Gipson and Trent Gipson.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
