R A Warren, 90, of Atkins, Arkansas passed away on October 23, 2010 at Morrilton, Arkansas. He was born March 10, 1920 at Caglesville, Arkansas and was the son of Frank and Goldie Williams Warren. He was also preceded in death by sisters Margie Duvall, Reba Boren, brothers, Elmer and Cryil Warren. He was a Navy veteran, avid golfer and a member of Atkins United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Nell Burnett Warren of Atkins, son and daughter-in-law, James Carl and Arlene Warren of Russellville, Arkansas daughters and son-in-law, Kathryn Maston of Russellville, Edna and Charles Carothers of Russellville, nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral service was held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, October 26, 2010, at Lemley Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Michael Burden and Rev. Robert Woody officiating.
Burial was at Oakland Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service.
Pallbearers were Paul Lee Burnett, John Burnett, Bill Burnett, Bruce Carothers, Carl Warren and Jason Warren. Honorary Pallbearers are C.B. Haney and Jim Welsh.
