Jerrel Dailey, 82, of Magnolia, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017 at his residence in Magnolia.

Jerrel was born on May 6, 1935 in Emerson to the late W.O. and Ruby (Hartsell) Dailey. He was a member of the Jackson Street Church of Christ and the Rotary Club. He was the owner of Unique Hairstyling where he was a barber and stylist. He was a past president of the Arkansas Barber Board and past president of the National Association of Boards of Barber Examiners of America.

Jerrel was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Jackie Foster; and brothers, Don Dailey and Sanford Dailey.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty Dailey of Magnolia; sons, Terry Dailey and wife Jeanie of Malvern, Rodney Dailey and Kathy DuBose of Magnolia, and Jeff Dailey of Waldo; daughter, Donna Loe and husband Mike of Magnolia; grandsons, Zach Dailey of Benton and Sam Loe of Batesville; granddaughters, April May of Terrell, NC, Cortney Hapner and husband Ryan of Benton, Laura Dailey of Little Rock, Jillian Haile and husband of Benj of Magnolia, Haley Ockerman and husband Justin of El Dorado, Kelly Colvin and husband John of Shreveport, LA, and Sara Bond and husband Tyler of Springdale; great grandchildren, Austin Flow, Autum Flow, Carley May, Dante Dailey, Fynlee Hapner, Cayden Hapner, Hayden Haile, Conner Jones, Preslee Ockerman, Sadie Colvin, and Trey Colvin.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 10, 2017 at the Memorial Park Cemetery with Bro. Ed Phillips officiating under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., in Magnolia.

Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jerrel’s grandchildren, April May, Zach Dailey, Cortney Dailey Hapner, Laura Dailey, Jillian Dailey Haile, Haley Mitchell Ockerman, Kelly Mitchell Colvin, Sara Loe Bond and Sam Loe.

The family requests memorials are made to Life Touch Hospice, 2301 Champagnolle, El Dorado, AR 71730.
