Michael Lynn Sams, 57, of St. Joe, AR passed away Friday, August 21, 2015 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado.
Michael was born on January 24, 1958 in Jellico, Tennessee and was a carpenter and derrick hand.
He was preceded in death by his parents; James Boyd Sams and Edith Peggy (Hamilton) Randall; and two brothers, Jim Sams and Charles Sams.
Michael is survived by his daughter, Robyn Sams of Magnolia, AR; grandson, Xylar Blade Sams of Magnolia; brother, Alan Sams and wife Kari of Cincinnati, OH; nephew, Chris Sams of Little Rock, AR; niece, Samantha Grant and husband Cody of Springhill, LA; and great nieces, Madilyn Grant and Gracey Grant both of Springhill, LA.
Visitation with the family will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, August 24 at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., in Magnolia. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 25 at Lewis Chapel. Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Chris Sams, Doug Driemeyer, Jordan Driemeyer, Paul Walker, Randall Foster and Mike Rogers.
