May 21, 1937 - April 22, 1974
William H. Pearce, 36, of Stephens, died Monday. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church of Stephens. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery at Magnolia under the direction of Proctors Funeral Home. Mr. Pearce was a member of the First Baptist Church of Stephens. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Georgia Parnell Pearce; three sons, Brandon H. Pearce, Charles W. Pearce and David P. Pearce, all of the home; his mother, Evangeline Pearce of Camden; one brother, Joe Pearce of Albany, Ga. and three sisters, Mrs. Harry Freeman of Saudie Arabia, Mrs. D. S. Westmoreland of Lee's Summit, Mo and Mrs. William Benson of Florence, S.C. (Camden News - April 23, 1974)
