At 7:15pm Sunday December 29, 2013 The Lord sent Angels to escort Uncle James to his new home to be with his loved ones. He will no longer be in pain or suffering. He will be looking after the ones of us left here on this earth.
James Earl Beaver, 83, of Russellville, died Sunday, December 29, 2013, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born June 13, 1930, at Russellville, to Franklin Faith and Ethel Jones Beaver. He was a maintenance man for Chateaux DeVille Apartments in Little Rock for 33 years and a member of Crystal Hill Baptist Church in Little Rock. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Betty Jewel Beaver; brothers Vernon Beaver and William Beaver; and sisters Christine Allen, Virginia Bailey, Rosa Lee Brown/Dollar and Mildred Taylor. Survivors include his children and their spouses, Becky and Eddie Pulley of Newcomerstown, Ohio, James Elbert and Reta Beaver of Bryant, Arkansas, Teresa and Keith Gunter of Dover, Arkansas, and Jason Earl and Kandi Beaver of Greenwood, Arkansas; a sister, Ethel Hubbard of Russellville, Arkansas;grandchildren Cathy, Casey, Chad, Tiffany and Breanna; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and his former wife, Edna "Cookie" Sheppard.
Active pallbearers were David Hubbard, Michael Paul Bramlett, Ronnie Hendrix, Tyler Schupbach, Casey Pulley and Casey Spradlin.
