Charles Kenneth “Peewee” Baker, 80, of Atkins, passed away Monday, October 17, 2016, at UAMS in Little Rock. He was born December 27, 1935, in Atkins, son of Elbert and Estella Wilson Baker. He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church, the Atkins Lions Club, and the Atkins Planning Commission. He served in the United States Air Force for 8 years. He is survived by his wife, Joann Baker; daughter Jennifer and husband James Miller; granddaughter Chelsea Miller; and grandson Kenny Miller.

Pallbearers were Kenny Miller, James Miller, Grant Hall, Bobby Pitts, Ellis Gilmore, and Jason Beavers. Honorary pallbearers were J C Meisenheimer and Charles Drake.

Joann Baker, 81, of Atkins, passed away Monday, August 13, 2018 at her home. She was born October 16, 1936 in Atkins, daughter of Bert and Alyne Jones Hall. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Charles Baker; and a brother, Don Hall. She is survived by daughter, Jennifer and husband James Miller; granddaughter Chelsea Miller; grandson Kenny Miller; and a step-grandson, Sammy Miller.
Pallbearers were Kenny Miller, Grant Hall, Richard Holcomb, Johnny Ralph Pew, Cliff Roberson, and Brent Pearce.
