Jean McWhirter, 77 of Mayflower, Arkansas formerly of McNeil, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 in Mayflower.
She was born on August 8, 1934 in McNeil, Arkansas to the late Willie Ike and Thelma (Booth) Boyd. She was a retired dental assistant for Dr. Robert Orgain and Thompson and Thompson.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Weldon Hays McWhirter; and a sister Fannie May Price.
Jean is survived by her son, Hays McWhirter and wife Mindy of Ashdown, Arkansas; a daughter, Pam Shaw and husband John of Mayflower, Arkansas; a granddaughter, Whitney McWhirter of Ashdown; and a special caregiver, Liz Solomon of Mayflower.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the Magnolia Memorial Park Cemetery with Bro. Danny Bullock officiating under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia
