Octavia J Jarvis, 86, of Atkins,,Arkansas passed away Friday, September 15, 2017, at her home. She was born October 31, 1930, in Bassett, Arkansas, and was the daughter of Ruben and Wencie Jennings Jones.She was a Baptist.
She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Ernthie Vernon Yancey, Jr;(Burial
Riverside Cemetery,Montgomery, Kane County, Illinois) her second husband Bill Jarvis; daughters, Sandra Bowden and Selene Hallabaugh; sons-in-law, Jake Jacobsen and Richard Ginther; brothers Wayne Jones & Ruben Jones,Jr; sisters, Laura May, Margaret, Bernice and Weecie; a granddaughter, Faith Dalton; and great-grand sons, Ayden Lane and John David Harris; nephew, Bobby Brown.

She is survived by daughters Genevia Jacobsen, Carlotta Ginther and Marilyn (Gordon) Beldin; brother, Jerry (Cheryl) Jones; tsons-in-law: Larry Bowden and Glen Hallabaugh, Fourteen grandchildren, twenty eight great-grandchildren and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. David Bishop officiating.
Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Monday.
Pallbearers will be Larry Bowden, Gordon Beldin, Glen Hallabaugh, Teddy Riffell, Tristan Teague and Cary Teague.
