Daughter of Lowell Clinton Thompson & Searcy Emma Wooldridge Thompson
Barbara Sengbusch, founder of the Asperger's Family Support Group in Billings, Montana died December 23, 2001. She was a graduate of North Little Rock High School in Arkansas and of the University of Illinois in Chicago. For more than 20 years she worked as a teacher.
The support group she founded helps children and parents deal with Asperger's Syndrome and acts as an advocate for students within the school system.
Survivors include her husband, Gary; son, Bill; and sister, Virginia "Ginny" Tyson.
A Celebration of Life service will be at 1 pm January 4 at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary.
Memorials may be made to National Alliance for the Mentally Ill of Billings, 1645 Avenue D, Suite G, Billings, Montana 59102.
