Michael Anthony Kauble, 80, of Russellville, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at his home. He was born April 21, 1937 in Norris City, Illinois, son of LuVerne and Angelia Aldridge Kauble. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a private pilot. He had a love of nature, enjoyed deer hunting, and was a member of AOPA and the Ercoupe Owners Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Karen Drury and Juanita Young; and a brother, William Kauble. He is survived by his wife, Aylene Kauble of the home; son, Reese E Kauble and wife Christy of Van, Texas; daughter, Terri L and husband Mick Davis of Russellville; sister, Barbara Walker of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; 3 grandchildren, Katie and husband Lucas Talburt of Greenbrier, Hayden Kauble, and Alexandra Kauble, both of Van, Texas.
Funeral services are 11:00 AM, Friday, March 23, at Atkins First Free Will Baptist Church with Rev Johnny McCoy officiating. Burial is in Oakland Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
Pallbearers will be Calvin Stovall, Alan Rook, Dean Medlen, Jerry Nelson, Jack Johnson, Ryan Rook.
Memorials in his honor may be made to the Rockefeller Cancer Center at UAMS.
