Chuck Brannon, 62, of Pottsville, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. He was born August 20, 1955, in Trumann, Arkansas, son of Leo and Gladys Sharp Brannon.
He was hardworking and could accomplish anything he set his mind to. He was a talented welder and fabricator, and was great with his hands. He was strong-willed, very talented, and hard working. He loved sports, especially the Arkansas Razorbacks, and enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, camping, and 4-wheeler riding.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and 3 brothers, Ronnie Brannon, Gerald Brannon, and Tim Brannon.
He is survived by son, Steven Brannon and wife Amber; daughter, Stephanie Reed; 4 granchildren, Tanner Reed, Garrett Reed, Carson Brannon, and Avery Brannon; brothers, Lonnie Brannon and wife Debra, Mark Brannon and wife Cynthia; sisters, Brenda and husband Randall Wright, and Glenda and husband Billy Harris; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 27, at Lemley Chapel with Rev David Downum and Rev Hank Duvall officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.

Pallbearers are Brandon Harris, Eric Brannon, Charlie Chance, Matt Vick, Justin Brannon, and Bobby Brannon. Honorary pallbearer is Randall Wright.
