February 16, 1937 - April 21, 2000
Youlas "Red" Brannon, 63, of Atkins,Arkansas passed away Friday, April 21, 2000 at his home.
He was a retired mechanic and a member of the Ada's Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by daughters, Rhonda, Lisa and baby Brannon; his parents, Clifford and Ruth Brannon, brother, Ray Brannon, sister, Geneva Timms.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Brannon; son and daughter-in-law Youlas Glenn and Christy Brannon of Atkins; daughters and sons-in-laws, Donna M Hughes and Pat Spivey of Wilmington Ill, and Theresa L Parsons of Delaware, Arkansas, brothers, Leo of Atkins, James of Hector, Jerry of Dardanelle, Rickey, and C R Brannon of Jonesboro; sisters; Mantlee Sharpe of Brookland, Arkansas, and Stella Jones, of Jonesboro, Eight Grandchildren, and two Great-grandchildren.
Services were held Monday, April 24 at Lemley Chapel with the Rev Peggy Duvall officiating.
Burial was at Oakland Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service.
Active Pallbearers were Kerry Hughes, James Darrin Parsons, Jason Parsons, Lonnie Brannon, Rickey Dale Brannon and Pat Spivey.
Honorary pallbearer was Herman Walker.
