Rebecca Kaylin "Becca" Goates, 12, of Mabelvale, Arkansas died Friday in Mabelvale. She attended Fuller Middle School, was a member of Paws and Claws of the Pulaski County Humane Society. She was a member of the Youth Group at Ironton Baptist Church and Falling Water Church.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Cecil "Bob Haralson, Lester and Katherine Trew, Raymond Hudlow, Eugene Goates, Grady Kinslow, and Artie Kinslow. Survivors include her mother and fiance, Melanie Welter and Belden Ward; father, DeWayne Goates; 5 brothers, and baby Smith; 2 sisters; grandparents and great-grandparents; aunts and uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Funeral was Monday at Union Grove Free Will Baptist Church east of Atkins, with the Revs. Lester Chisum, Leonard Chisum, and David Bishop officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service.
