Anthony Tony Parr, 67, of Batesville died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2006, at his home.

Born Oct. 24, 1938, at Cord, he was the son of Lee Oliver and Retha Myrtle Brewer Parr. He
was owner and operator of Parr's Garage in Batesville and was a member of First Free
Will Baptist Church in Batesville.

Survivors include his wife, Ivon Needham Parr; two sons, Michael Anthony Parr and Jerry
Lavon Parr, both of Batesville; a brother, Lee Von Parr of Little Rock; a sister, Moretta
Hensley of Cord; two grandchildren, Cheyanna Parr and Sara Parr, both of Batesville; and
several nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hopewell Cemetery in Cord with Bobby
Shepherd officiating. Arrangements are by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.

Pallbearers will be Wilson Gipson, Orice Gene Ward, Paul Needham, Gene Simpson, Jim
Rutledge and Jerry Brewer.

Honorary pallbearers are Aubrey Brown, Curtis Smith, Bill Ring, Jimmy Poole, Alvie
Needham, Darrell Gibbs and Ray Herring.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight.
