Jack Jackson, 78, of Jonesboro, died Saturday, April 19, at his residence.

Born at Minturn, he was a retired farmer and lived in the Alicia area most of his life before moving to Jonesboro 10 years ago. He was a member of Central Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Jackson of the home; one daughter, Elaine Lambie of Jonesboro; one sister, Juanita Allen of Walnut Ridge; and one granddaughter, Elizabeth Lambie of Jonesboro.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at Lawrence Memorial Park in Walnut Ridge, with Lowell Graham officiating. House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge is in charge of arrangements.

No visitation has been planned.

Memorials may be made to the Central Baptist Church building fund, 100 East Cherry Ave., Jonesboro 72401.

Anetta Lynn (Ann) Jackson of Jonesboro passed from this earth to God's arms on Friday, February 1, 2019.

Anetta was the daughter of Clay and Rena Snedeker of Alicia. She and her husband, Jack, farmed in the Calvin Crossing Community for 50 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2003 and was a longtime member of Central Baptist Church in Jonesboro.

Survivors include her daughter, Elaine Lambie (Keith) Blackman of Jonesboro; her granddaughter, Dr. Elizabeth (Adam) Sullivan of Little Rock; her great grandson, Rory Michael Sullivan of Little Rock; her brother, Orbert (Betty) Snedeker of Walnut Ridge and her nephew, Kendell (Betty Sue) Snedeker of Alicia.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, February 2, at Lawrence Memorial Cemetery in Walnut Ridge under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home. Pastors Mike Martin and Larry Bailey will officiate.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to Central Baptist Church Missions Program, the Gideons International or any charitable organization of choice.

A special thank you to the staff at Craighead Nursing Center, St. Bernards Medical Center Hospice staff and to all the friends who freely gave of their time and prayers on this family's behalf. Our hearts are humbled by your love.
