James Edgar “Butch” Ferguson was born November 16, 1950 in Marvell, AR the son of Bert Lee and Mattie Morgan Ferguson. He worked as a farmer and doing cross tie treatment. Butch was a veteran of the US Army and a member of Trenton Baptist Church. He passed away Tuesday January 6, 2015 at his home near Marvell.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter: Yolanda Ferguson Tomlinson and a brother, J. B. Ferguson.
