Lester Louie Mathis, Jr, 76 of Russellville, Arkansas passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Russellville. He was born November 7, 1942 in Hector, Arkansas to Lester Louie "Tickey" Mathis, Sr and Wilma Jewell Page. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Mike Mathis.He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Sharon Mae Mathis; children, Louie (Margaret) Mathis, III, David (Leslie) Mathis, Chris (Judy) Mathis, Elizabeth Mathis; grandchildren; Tristan Mathis, Jessica Mathis, Marcos Perdomo, Cheyenne Perdomo; brothers, Lelus (Debbie) Mathis, Jerry (Veronica) Mathis; sisters-in-law, Linda Mathis, Lula Mae (Leroy) Vanwinkle and several other family and friends.
Louie loved his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed being outdoors gardening. His passion was yard work at Welcome Hill Assembly of God Church where he was a member.
