Stephen J. Miller, 63, of Cabot, Arkansas and a former resident of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Saturday, March 3, 2018. He was born in Westfield on December 10, 1954, a beloved son of Elizabeth A. “Betty” (Latour) Miller and the late Leroy F. “Moose” Miller who was Called Home on January 22, 2013. He was raised in Chicopee and graduated in 1974 from Chicopee Comprehensive High School. Following in his father’s footsteps, he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served his country for 20 years retiring as a Master Sergeant. Stephen loved his time in the Air Force and was honored to have worked on the President’s plane, Air Force One. Following his retirement, he was employed at Dassault Falcon Jet. In addition to his beloved mother, Betty, he leaves his loving wife, Carol; his four loving children, Michael J. Miller and his wife, Jessica, Christine Bazar, Joseph Miller and Nicole Miller; his three cherished grandchildren, Madison, Jack and Michael, Jr.; and his dear brother, John Miller and his wife, Donna. His Interment with United States Air Force Military Honors was held at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway, AR. St. Pierre – Phaneuf Fairview Chapels, 506 Britton Street, Chicopee, MA 01020, (413-533-3307) is assisting his mother.
