Fredrick Charles Merker, Jr. was born on July 5, 1949 in Merced, California to Fredrick Charles Merker, Sr. and Agnus G. Merker. He passed from this life on January 7, 2015 in Conway, Arkansas at the age of 65. He was raised in California and moved to Conway, Arkansas in 1995. He was a Vietnam Veteran who served on the USS Ticonderoga from August 1968 until August 1973. His occupation was Sheet-Metal, general laborer, Forklift and Truck Driver.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years: Debra Ann Davis Merker, two sons: Charles Edward Merker, Sr. and Dennis Allen Merker along with his wife Heather Gipson Merker, one daughter: Christine Michelle Merker, three grandsons: Charles Edward Merker, Jr. (aka as CJ) and Gerald Edward Merker (aka Jerry), Zane Allen Merker with sister Eden Olivia Merker soon to arrive, two sisters: Marie Merker Morris and Barbara Merker White.
A Graveside service will be held at Crestlawn Memorial Park on Monday January 12, 2015 at 10:00 am.
