DeWitt - Louise Ruby Mae Thornsberry Childers, 82, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2015. She was born March 7, 1933 in Marianna. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ed Childers, a son, Ricky Childers, her parents, John and Jane Thornsberry, and her siblings, Irene Goode, Earl Thornsberry, Leora Boozer, Lois Jenkins, Beatrice Thomas and Freda Brazeal.
She is survived by her children: Jerry Childers, Vickie Tibbett and Lisa Howe of DeWitt, and Ronnie Childers of Fayetteville; grandchildren: Jennifer Childers of DeWitt, Jill Childers of Arlington, Texas, Brooks Spears of Lonoke, Whitney Price of Almyra, Drew Childers, Kate Akins, and Clair Childers of Fayetteville, Heather Box of Stuttgart, Haley Howe of Conway and Heidi Howe of Bossier City, Louisiana; great grandchildren: Garrett and Cole Spears, Charley and Campbell Childers, Maddax and Miller Atkins and Ayla Box.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, November 19th at Essex Funeral Home Chapel with visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 before the service. Interment will be at Cedarcrest Memorial Gardens.
