Carrol Pyle, age 102, of Bloomburg, Texas, died Wednesday, November 9, 2011 in a local hospital.
Carrol was born September 12, 1909 in Miller County, Arkansas. He was a charter member of Sand Hill Assembly of God Church, in Miller County, Arkansas. He enjoyed squirrel hunting and singing. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Rachel Pyle.
He is survived by two sons, Earnest Pyle and wife Doris of Bloomburg, Texas, and Larry Pyle and wife Georgiann of Russellville, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Beverly Duball of Austin, Texas, Carol Ann McKinney of White Oak, Texas, David Pyle of Doddridge, Arkansas, Steven Erwin of Athens, Texas, Chris Pyle of Chicago, Illinois, Steven Pyle of Russellville, Arkansas, Aimee Ashcraft of Russellville, Arkansas, fourteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
