Carolyn Howie Clark
Carolyn Howie Clark, 66, of the Pumpkin Center community outside Hammond, LA, died Friday, December 14, 2001, at her home. A native of the Mount Pleasant community and a former resident of Kenner, LA, she was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Erma Caldwell Howie; and a brother, Robert Howie.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald L. Clark of the Pumpkin Center community; two daughters, Jacquese C. Ricks of Pumpkin Center and Sandra C. Roberts of Houston, TX; four granddaughters, Rebekah Kelley, Ashley Roberts, Katie Ricks and Kristin Roberts; and one brother, Edward Howie of Starts, LA.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday, December 17, in the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. Eugene Howie officiating. Arrangements were by Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home of Hammond, LA.
