When Jimmie Burns was born on May 2, 1917, in Arkansas, his father, A, was 50 and his mother, Anne, was 36. He married Dorothy Nell Abney on January 1, 1938, in Union, Arkansas. He died on May 30, 2002, in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, at the age of 85, and was buried in De Witt, Arkansas.
