Mary Helen Raper, age 74, of Warren, Arkansas died Thursday, July 6, at home. She was born September 13, 1931 at Warren, Arkansas a daughter of the late Everette Williams and Helen Neely Williams.
She was a graduate of Warren High School and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. For 37 years she was a medical assistant at Crow-Whaley Clinic and she retired as dietician for the Warren Public School system with 11 years of service.
Surviving is her husband Jamie Raper whom she married on May 31, 1963; 1 son Matt Raper, Warren, Ark; 1 daughter Amanda Gladden, Warren, Ark; 2 brothers Ed Williams, El Dorado, Ark. and Robert Williams, North Highlands, Calif; 4 grandchildren Mary Faith Owens, Zack Raper, Caleb Raper and Anna Raper. 1 step granddaughter Hope Gladden of Glenrose, AR.
Graveside services were 4:00pm Saturday, July 8, at Garrison Cemetery near Warren by Rev. Jerry Carter. Jonalyn Reep was the soloist. .
Pallbearers were Coach Marion Glover, William Carl Wisener, Jim Wisener, former State Representative Bobby Newman, Phillip ‘Jay Bird" Wylie and Donnie Rice. Arrangements were by Frazer's Funeral Home.
