Sammy Phillips, 87, of Russellville, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at St Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville.
He was born March 28, 1927 in Blytheville, Arkansas. He was a Farmer and worked hard for his family. Sammy was a devout Christian man and he attended church every time the doors were open. He was preceded in death by his wife of 28 years, Ruby Nell Phillips and his parents.
Survivors include his step-daughter Barbra McVay (Jimmy) of Dover.
