William Douglass Thomas, 85, of Ozark, Arkansas, died Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at Ozark.
He was born July 1, 1930 in Cass, Arkansas to Hugh and Lou Emma Markham Thomas. He was retired from the US Forestry Service and a member of the Ozark Freewill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by son, Lonnie Dewayne Thomas, brother Allen Ray Thomas, sisters, Willow Dean James and Emma Jean Tillery. He is survived by his wife Mary Frances Hanshew Thomas of Ozark; son Gerald Thomas and his wife Vergie of Ozark; daughters, Frances Oelke of Alma, Arkansas and Sherry Bell & husband Ron of Little Rock, Arkansas; sisters, Shirley Ingram and Betty Jo Jorguson both of Lewisburg, Kansas; brother, Jimmy Thomas of Ozark; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were grandsons, Jordan, Joseph, and Jaylan Thomas, Tim Webb, Corey Oelke, and Jordan Russell; honorary pallbearers were Kim Webb, Carrie Curtis, Melissa Flores, Sara Thomas, and Josh Thomas

Mary Frances Thomas, 88, of Ozark, Arkansas went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, August 1, 2018. She was retired from Cordell, Inc in Charleston, Arkansas and a member of the Ozark Freewill Baptist Church. She was born January 2, 1930 in Hartman, Arkansas to Lester Vernon and Jenny Frances Flutz Hanshew. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William D Thomas; son, Lonnie Dewayne Thomas; sisters, Betty “Mamie” Lester and Eloise Huffman. She is survived by daughters, Sherry Bell and son-in-law Ron of Little Rock, and Frances Oelke of Van Buren; son Gerald Thomas of Ozark; sister Charlene Summey of Rogers, Arkansas; 9 grand children; 8 great grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren.
